tradition Jim Ward, Jr. and Jim Ward, Sr. continue that long standing

Jim Ward, Sr. graduated from Elkhart High School, attended Western
Illinois University School of Business until joining the U. S. Air Force
in 1952 during the Korean Conflict.
Jim, Sr. began his business career in Springfield in 1960. In 1984,
he began his career in insurance, writing commercial insurance state-wide.
He is also a graduate Certified Insurance Counselor.
Jim, Sr. has attended at least one
insurance seminar every year since 1984 except for one.
Jim Ward, Jr. is a graduate of Griffin High School in Springfield. He also
graduated with a Business Degree from Western Illinois University in 1978.
Jim's major was in Business Administration including classes in insurance.
He began his business career in the summer of
1978 working with Jim, Sr. at Ward Oil Co. In 1988 he became a
licensed agent assisting Jim, Sr. writing commercial insurance.
He has 24 years of business experience including 16 years of insurance.
Jim is very active in community activities including the Knights of
Columbus and a number of activities at Christ the King Church.
Jim is the President of J. M. Ward & Co and manages the day to day
operations in addition to being an active agent in personal lines
insurance, commercial insurance and bonds.
Jane is the corporate secretary, office administrator and serves as an on
site agent.
Jane graduated from Lincoln High School. She graduated from Illinois
College in Jacksonville in 1983 with a Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration and Economics.
Jane holds the degree of Certified Insurance Representative and was named
the Certified Service Representative of the Year in 1997 by the
Professional Independent Insurance Agents Association of Illinois.
Jane began her insurance career in the spring of 1994 and has considerable
experience with commercial business state-wide.

Sue is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She graduated from Western
Illinois’s School of Business majoring in Finance in 1981. She has an in
depth background in Human Resources, working first with the original
Marine Bank of Springfield and later in a supervisory capacity at Central
Illinois Power Company. More recently she was in supervision of Human
Resources with the St. Petersburg Times in St Petersburg FL. handling
various Human Resource Services for a staff of 15,000.
She is considerable knowledge of Benefits including 401k’s , Life &
Health Insurance.
Sue’s work in the agency includes extensive work with Personal Lines
Home and Auto Coverage as well as taking an active part in Life and
Major Medical Coverage.
